Monday morning we thanked the Middletons for making us feel like family and Norman drove us to the rail station. We headed from Linlithgow to Glasgow Queens Station and walked to Glasgow Central...
...where we caught a train to the west coast port town of Ardrossan.
Spacey bathroom!
We boarded a CalMac ferry and said goodbye to the mainland.
The seagulls kept a steady pace with the boat - so photogenic!
That's Arran - the highest peak, Goat Fell, on the right.
We landed in Brodick and enjoyed lunch at the Brodick Bar.
After lunch shopped for most of our food for the week and headed south 15 minutes by bus to our beautiful flat in the village of Lamlash.
Toasting our successes with ginger beer.
Cheers!
love the white houses, this trip looks wonderful!
